Unortunately this product comes with 2 pin plug and not a 3 pin plug as used in the UK
This is not mentioned in product description
So when received unable to use the day as not having an adaptor, as it was meant to be birthday gift
this totally spoilt recipients birthday as unable to use gift on the day, therefore returned
Why is this not mentioned in product description giving you the opportunity to either buy an adaptor to avoid
disappointment or the chance to buy another product that does come with the correct plug attached
Also why give this product a bright RED electric supply lead?
Its not suited to the product at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! except maybe if your purchasing the red one then it would go, otherwise the normal black lead would be much better on the black/grey machine.

I saw a lot of bad or mediocre reviews on it but honestly it is amazing, you can personalise your drinks, it looks so good in our kitchen, the coffee is great and creamy, and I like the design because it is easier to clean than other machines I’ve had in the past. Also I recommend you use a jug to pour water in, but other that that, amazing value for price. Also, it shipped so quickly!

This is my fourth dolce gusto coffee machine… and not the best but it’s ok. I can’t seem to get hold of the normal picalo machine with the larger reservoir I’ve had previously. One that lets you decide how much water to put in, rather than doing it for you. This one takes longer for the green light to come on and when I’m up in a morning … every second counts for my first coffee of the day! This takes too long. It also flashes at me too much. I had to look up why it flashed orange… because it needed its nozzle cleaning and rescaling apparently. Jeez, I’d only had it a few weeks and I use green water… so I don’t think so. But apparently it flashes after so many uses whether it needs it or not. It’s ok… just hold the button in for a few seconds and it goes away. Annoying flashing lights aside… it still makes a grand cuppa coffee.

Here it is in the pic, and strangely takes up less space than my previous machine.
This is a good price, and the genuine item.
I’ve upgraded after 18 months, as needed/wanted a bigger water tank, and even easier to fill up (just remove the lid, as apposed to removing the container).
Still a manual version, but 50% bigger tank compared to the vast majority.
Looks great, and takes up as much space as a 2 slice toaster (will pics later). Simple to top up the tank (lift the lid and use a jug of water. No need to keep removing the tank and fiddle to get back in).
Go on, tell them Mac says it’s good!

Design lends itself to adding eyes to head looks like duck. Also makes fantastic coffee.

The machine is simple enough to use but don’t walk away from it, unlike my previous machine you could choose how much fluid would fill the cup which was convenient when making cappuccino or cortado etc this machine it’s either on or off, if you walk away you’ll end up with coffee all over your counter top as it continues to fill until the water runs out.

This was reduced when purchased so I got a bargain and its unique stylish new design looks flawless whilst producing both hot and cold drinks this is the perfect machine to be had!
Easy to use and a large water tank but not overly too big.
Very impressed and so far this is the best purchase this year!
Thanks

As a convenient form of coffee making, it just works. Flavour depends upon the quality of the coffee in the capsules.
When I lift the lid to release a capsule it often sticks and then takes another press down and lift to release the capsule. I worry that, if it gets worse, the coffee machine might become unusable. If it’s going to fail, I hope it does so in the warranty period!
Apart from that, I think the design is one of the best and is quite futuristic. The device for raising or lowering the cup/mug could do with having intermediate settings. Too high and the cup won’t fit. Next level down and it is so far from the cup it tends to spit coffee outside of the machine.
Like the red logo on the plug – makes for easy identification. The cable is just still enough to bend into a net shape. Wish the water container was about twice the size. I get fed up of refilling it.
Overall, it’s a decent convenience coffee making machine but I hate the production of yet more plastic waste. I tried reusables on a previous machine and they all but wrecked it. I used to use Amazon’s Solimo own brand capsules but the black coffee ones disappeared. I regard the capsules as too expensive, but you pay for the convenience.
