I decided to order a mower whilst in lockdown as had been strimming the lawn previously and it looked pretty rubbish.

I ordered it Friday morning and it was delivered Saturday lunch time.

I unboxed the mower and assembled it which was really simple to do. The bag was a bit Fiddly to do but managed it.

Took it out to cut the grass and its really lightweight and easy to push manually and has done a good job on the shortest setting.

    No issues from me

I have a very dense and even lawn. Blades are not sharp, so mowing is a struggle (I’m young, fit and healthy). I’m switching to an electric one. The cut this mower gives is very uneven. Sadly, the return window has passed but I certainly don’t recommend it to anyone.

I have a large ish lawn (about half a tennis court) and have both the Bosch push mower and this mower. They both have a very similar finish which looks much better than that provided by my old petrol mower. The Bosch is easier to push (my eight year old can manage it with ease) but is hopeless at picking up the grass. The einhell is more difficult to push (It’s a good workout for my arms and the eight year old has no chance) but Is far superior at collecting the grass. The einhell is quieter. If I didn’t have dogs or kids I’d go with the Bosch but the einhell is the best choice to avoid grass being brought into the house. If your contemplating one as an alternative to a petrol or electric mower I’d highly recommend either. You’d be amazed by how much time and effort you save not messing with a heavy mower even on a fairly large lawn.

This is a superb mower it cuts the grass with ease & when set on the lowest cut it really mows a finish like a golf putting green. Its also very light to carry with a decent size collapsible grass collector that clips on with ease. The only moan I have is a slight one the instructions to assemble the bits & pieces to put things together are vague but a really good mower.

If you try to use this to cut long grass you will probably hate it and never use it again lol. It will be that hard. So really and truly you probably need another mower – a petrol mower even – to do your grass at the start of the season, particularly if you are trying to hold the moss back and lower the grass gradually as the good weather comes in. But once you have the grass down to a lower level, and you are willing to cut it once a week, it makes the whole thing a much quicker and more peaceful walk around in the fresh air. Personally I never use the basket because the clippings at that point are so small they are unnoticeable after cutting. And it takes up very little room in the shed.

So far I’m really impressed with this lawnmower. I had bought it because I’m concerned with storage space and wanted something cheap. This seemed to meet both of those requirements.

The instructions were pretty confusing but the handle only consisted of a handful of parts so was easy to assemble, no tools required, less than 5 minutes tightening a few screws. I decided not to use the grass collector, other reviews mentioned it falls apart, for this price you’re not going to find anything with a solid collector. The collector is also unnecessary, standing upright with no collector my mower takes almost no space, pushing it without one is easier and I let the grass mulch which is arguably better for the lawn.

One difficulty I had though was the first springtime cut, I had let the grass grow to 15cm. The mower did a great job pushing back and forth but it was time consuming. Subsequent trims every fortnight now take no time at all. I zoom up and down the garden, no need to empty a collector, no flipping a wire on every length or connecting a power plug. It feels safer.

Honestly it’s really not often a device makes me smile but I like this one, really wish I’d found it sooner. Simpler is better.

Gives a good cut if the grass is dry, but is not happy with damp grass. On damp grass the wheels slide over it, which means the cutter blades stop rotating. If grass gets wound around the axles it will jam and slide again. The grass collector is a bad design. The mounting frame is flimsy, and the collector catches very little grass – more goes on the lawn, ( and over your feet ) than in the box. I now use the mower without the collector as it is less hassle.

It would be improved if the machine were a little heavier, and a better collection box were fitted, preferably made of stronger material and with a better way of attaching it , and it should be at the front as some other makes have it. Overall, it’s fine for small , dry , and level areas, otherwise go for something stronger with a better grass collector.

Compared to other makes available for similar prices I rate it as poor, hence only three stars.

What a lovely little mower. No more faffing about with extension leads. Cuts the grass really well. The grass Collection basket isn’t the greatest but I only use it for the back garden to slightly lessen the amount of cuttings the dogs walk indoors. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and am cutting the grass far more often, simply because I want to.
