I’m a bit of a coffee feind and i love the small of fresh coffee first thing in the morning especially when that coffee is a nice strong Espresso.
This machine is a chunky looking piece of equipment that now sits proudly on our countertop, it has both the standard coffee container part (no idea what it’s called but I’m sure there’s a posh name for it.) This has the option of being either single or double sized. I tend to go for the double cup sized anyway just because i like a lot of strong coffee.
The frother is a nice touch, adding milk into a jug and popping it under the frother means i can also make a mean cappuccino in the middle of the day when the need takes me.
So overall, although it’s a bit of a noisy machine it really does make a nice cup of coffee, be it espresso or cappucino, just make sure you buy some decent coffee.
The No Face –
I knew this wouldn’t match the pro machines – duh.
However… for what it is and how much it costs – it isn’t too bad.
Firstly – does it make tasty coffee – yes – depends what coffee you buy (duh)
Up until I bought this I’d been using an aeropress and also a caffetiere. Both make decent coffee. Am I a coffee snob? Not really but I do recognise different tastes – created by the different ways of making coffee.
Back to this machine…
Switch it on
Fill up the reservoir on the back
Press HAND button and let the machine whir and rattle into life as it heats up water. Put a container under where the water runs out – to collect it rather than let the waste tray do it as there will be quite a bit of water.
Once the machine has warmed up – it will beep.
THEN you can put the coffee in with the twisty cup thing.
Make sure that is attached properly.
One cup OR two cups
I tend to press two cups even though I am only making one. You can make two cups at the same time but I like to make one strong one. Cos I am a caveman. Yes?
The machine is not ‘quiet’. If you’re making a coffee whilst your other half is asleep somewhere nearby then expect her / him / them to wake up and come and kick you in the coconuts.
Make them a coffee and see if that negates any coconut abuse.
Frother / steamer
Buy one of them milk thermometers that clip on the side of mugs/cups etc.
Pour ‘some’ milk into the cup – only needs to be a small amount – you will see why when you froth it up.
Press the frother button which looks like a cartoon fart icon.
Turn the steamer nob (oo-er) and let the steamer work out what the heck its job is. Mine take a few seconds or so before actual steam starts coming out. I have a spare mug/glass at hand to catch the pre-steam water that comes out.
Once the steam starts… dip the steamer ‘tip’ into your milk. Swirly it around and allow it to heat up the milk and froth it. Should get to about 70 deg C. Lovely.
I use Oatly whole milk and it is superb. Whole milk (cows etc) will froth up quite a bit so watch oot.
Get your coffee and pour the frothed up milk into it. If you want, you can try to create a pretty pattern but remember, you’re going to ruin it within seconds, so why bother?
Clean the steamer head immediately – remove the tube and clean the steamer tip as there will be milk residue encrusted on the end. This needs to be removed.
Once cleaned, give the steamer a little spurt again to make sure it isn’t going to get clogged up.
Why you’d put a clog up there I don’t know.
Enjoy.
Overall… a pleasing little machine that makes a nice coffee.
Pros: taste, simple to use / clean
Cons: noisy, may be dangerous to use in the hands of an idiot – burns etc
Make sure to top up the water reservoir!
Count your clogs.

Great coffee machine! Bought this for my grandparents rather than a fully manual one, with one touch of the button the espresso shot is pulled. Press the steam button which flickers and when ready is still. All very simple! Great machine
Mr Complaint –
Not much i can say, this got good reviews but mine does not work according to the instructions. Whatever i do no water comes out of the machine to make coffee, it always comes out of the steamer and even when you turn the steamer off it still leaks water everywhere. I’m sending it back as its probably my worst ever purchase from Amazon.

Great coffee machine for the price. Both myself and my other half are avid coffee lovers and the instant stuff doesnt seem to be hitting the mark lately. Wanted to try something in the cheaper range before buying a “proper” one if that makes sense.
Its a great size, doesnt take up too much counter space. Instructions are in somewhat broken English however they are straight forward to understand. Very easy to use and clean. Milk frother adds a great touch if you want to make capuccinos.
The only reccomendation i would make is that you buy proper espresso coffee. I attempted to grind some beans and i cannot get them fine enough to make a proper espresso. Not a fault of the machine at all, just an observation.

I don’t know if this is a professional machine or not. However, in my experience, it is a very professional coffee machine. I can say that it is especially great for those who like special and true coffee like me, or those who like espresso or americano.
A friend of mine, who is a coffee shop manager, came here today. I made him a nice cup of coffee. He said the coffee was good. Of course, I know that this varies depending on the type and brand of coffee. But it is very important in the machine that makes the coffee. He liked the brewing quality of the coffee very much. I showed him this machine I just bought. He studied it a little, made coffee a few times. He asked how much I paid. He said it is a great product and the price is very good, you can buy such a product for £150-200.
I am happy with my coffee and my machine. My wife, mother and I drink 5-10 cups of coffee daily. Usually 5-10 different types of coffee are available. We are people who love coffee and consume a lot. We control the flavor and aroma in coffee. This machine has been good for us.
Machine use:
turn it on,
fill the reservoir,
Press the hand button and let the machine spin and make noise while heating the water.
Put a container where the water flows.
Makes noise when machine heats up (beep!)
You can add coffee.
Make sure you do this correctly
A glass or two
You can make two glasses at the same time.
Foamer / Steamer
You can add from the sides of glasses or cups.
Add some milk to the empty glass and put this stick into the glass and run it. It will bring the milk to a different consistency. It’s like a completely professional coffee shop!
No need for Coffe Shop, now I have a real coffee machine!
